CREDITS 2 (LV) 3 (ECTS) - 30 Contact Hours

This course develops Students’ ability to measure, record and communicate the financial information of the company. Being the first course in Accounting (and followed by Financial Accounting), Business Accounting provides an important background for the upcoming studies of the Students. In order to successfully develop this base, we focus on both how to prepare and read the Financial Statements of the company.

This will be a very intensive course combining Lectures and Seminars. Lectures: daily 1 hour classes will cover every topic of the course. At the exam there will be questions from every lecture, including the guest lectures.Seminars: daily 1 hour seminars will follow the lectures. In order to prepare for the upcoming seminar students need to read the chapters stated in the course outline together with the review questions.

The only way of learning accounting properly is to solve as many exercises as possible. During this course we will combine both theory and problem solving to insure the best grade during the exam.
