CREDITS 4 (LV) 6 (ECTS) - 60 Contact Hours

Laws result of historical processes and contemporary policies forming a complex system that can be explored from many angles. During the course we will be taking a broad perspective looking at the legal method, systems, principles, relationships as well as institutional, political and substantive components of  law including the interaction of players in all levels. The course will provide a general introduction to jurisprudence which will help further studies in more specific legal disciplines and  introduce some practical aspects of legal writing and working with legal texts.
