CREDITS 2 (LV) 3 (ECTS) - 30 Contact Hours

This course offers students an introduction to current developments in Asia: the Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia, China, Japan and Korea. Foreign policy issues and bilateral relations with neighbors will be discussed taking into account each country's individual history. The course is interdisciplinary in nature and covers a wide range of subjects: political and foreign policy matters as well as geo-political, economic, social, religious and demographic issues.
