CREDITS 2 (LV) 3 (ECTS) - 30 Contact Hours

The course will continue studying the basic skills of German at A1/A2 level. The course aim is to let the students learn to understand the main points of clear, standard speech on familiar topics, such as work, study, leisure, culture and so on, and to communicate in German in most everyday situations about well-known topics of personal interest. At the end of this course, students are able to share their experiences and describe events, hopes and ambitions and to justify briefly or explain their intentions and beliefs. During the course, students analyse the most important aspects of spoken and written communication, developing understanding of the topical tendencies in the political, economic and cultural life of German-speaking countries and gain intercultural expertise.
