Course Abstract: This is a mandatory course of introduction to studies consisting of 18 hours of study skills (C. Goddard, I. Druviete), one hour introduction to legal research (L. Gjortlere), two hours each on Public International Law (M. Paparinskis), Private International Law (T. Krumins) and EU Law (I. Druviete) + an additional 12 hours maths/statistics (D. Linowski) for Law & Finance students only.

Course Objectives: to introduce students to the legal study skills they will need, along with some basic concepts, terminology and study fields, to give them a better platform for beginning their studies and choosing electives.
